hope you are a having a fabulous weekend no

matter if you are stuck in snow, or in our case rain

and wind.

my husband picked up our friend's kayak and took

eLijAh out for his first trip in one between

rain storms.

he loved it. of course.

he was all smiles. acutally, they both were :)

our campground is a block away from the new river inlet.

i took a few days off but i'm back to work.

cutting out nighlights - that's going to be a tuxedo cat,

some earrings, shamrock brooches and a few other things.

in the background you can see part of a beautiful bracelet

my awesome sister sent. i'll get better pictures when

the sun comes out.

as things get finished i'll be listing so stay tuned.

hi friends. trying to stay positive but sometimes

the icks and blahs creep in. feeling their effects

today. i try and be grateful for them as they slow me

down and help make

me aware of something that's not working.

the only i thing i know how to combat

them is pigging out on sweet and salty treats,

and playing with playdoh with eLijAh.

i finished up a couple of pieces last night and they

are now in the shop:

well, the training wheels came off thursday night

and eLijAh has been cruising ever since.

he's still learning to get on and off without

help but he's well on his way!

i am one worn out cookie chasing him around

the campground. boy do i need the excercise though!

now, fighting the monday morning blahs.

a HUGE thank you to two of my wonderful

international customers - leAnNe and cAroL!

they both have encouraged me to update my

etsy shipping profiles to be more internationally friendly

to potential buyers.

it wasn't that i was intentionally discouraging international sales ( i love ALL my peeps)

i just had a hard time figuring out fair rates.

but by having folks inquire about shipping it was acutally making it harder

to make a sale.

in the process of including

shipping info for "everywhere else"

i found several other mistakes that would prevent

even domestic buyers from purchasing - yikes!

so that has been corrected too :)

sorry i flaked out in the shipping department folks.

eLijAh and i just finished another papier mache sheet,

working in some paper clay, and have ideas for incorporating

found objects into pieces.

presents (can't believe he's gonna be 4!).

he loved the instant bug capsules;

i love how intense he is...

home sweet home

our new home.

we moved in just a little over three weeks ago.

she's a 37' travel trailer.

on our way to being another family on the road.

we have business that will keep us in the

wilmington, nc area for a couple of years and then

we will be on the next big adventure.

moving in was really tough for me.

letting go of nearly everything was more difficult than

i would have ever imagined. there have been

a lot of adjustments and still more to come.

but i'm thrilled we did it.

thanks for continuing to follow my blog while i've

made this transition.

hi guys, i'm still kickin'.

january was a real doozy.

anyway. i'm slowly feeling better and coming

back to myself :)

i'm sad to announce that i will be selling a big

part of my noodle and lou lulette collection.

they are originals signed by jeNn. i'll have some

individual houses and a set of halloween

and a set of christmas. i'm hoping to get some pics

up soon. it will be your chance to grab up some

fabulous pieces :)

sometimes life just knocks the wind out of me.

i'm grateful for what i do have with there being so many others

with so much less.

i am feeling better. now if i can stay up past 9:00 pm

eLijAh REALLY wanted to help with the laundry.

he started pulling out clothes to put in the basket.

the next thing i knew he was in the dryer.

the mind of a 3 year old.

he did get all the clothes out though.

i wish i could say i have been busy working on

fun projects but i haven't. i have several things

in the works but because of medication changes i can't

seem to pull it together enough to finish them.

it's still early enough in the evening and i haven't changed into a

pumpkin, so i think some

christmas music is in order.

maybe some playing too :)
