fRidAy niGht uPdAte

Hi everybody! No I haven't fallen off the planet, it's just been one of those weeks. I have lots of fun things to share with you all, including another giveaway - hooray! I'll also announce another shop update and share some pics of my cramped, cluttered, workspace.

Elijah was 7 months old on Monday, I can't believe it! You can't see them but he has two bottom teeth. One is all the way up and the other about half way. He is now eating green beans, squash, sweet potatoes, sweet peas, and carrots but he won't touch cereals.

Hope everyone is doing well. I really appreciate everyone's sweet comments! I'll be making the rounds again soon! :)

At long last sPriNg is here, yippee, hooray! However, this morning we were treated to a dusting of sPriNg snow. i'Ve bEen tAggEd!

Hello. I have been tagged by kRiSsy and adRi to list 6 things about myself. So here it goes...

1. No omelets, fritatas, or quiche for me please. Fried, scrambled, or hard boiled, yuk! I don't like eggs. It's a whole texture thing.

2. I clean out my ears with the small end of a paper clip. I find that this method of wax removal yields the most gunk, which is really what I'm after. I know, I know, I'm not supposed to put objects in my ear, but come on, it just feels good!

3. Most of my shirts have food stains on them (no, not from eLijAh). I don't sit over my plate when I eat so something always manages to get away from me. Usually it's a piece of lettuce coated with salad dressing. Plop.

4. I snore and drool while sleeping, just like my sweet bulldog dAiSy lOu.

5. I grind my teeth at night so my dentist molded a mouth piece for me to wear. Needless to say this does not help with the snoring and drooling.

6. haLLoWEen is my true love. I already have the bug to start some projects. I keep telling myself to get past mother's day and then gear up. Rest assured I'll be sneaking some in before then! Ha ha!

That's right, this funky primitive bunny magnet can be yours! I've collaged an image from a rusty pickle paper design (I wish it was my own!) onto a piece of papier mache and sealed it with a soft sparkle varnish.

I have been so consumed lately by the etsy treasury - so many beautiful collections - and bravo! tv. Just can't seem to get enough of either one. I can't say I was too surprised about the Project Runway finale. Such a great show, so sad to see it go...but, Top Chef will start this week and I love that too!

eLijAh is teething so it's been a difficult week and a half. I treasure my time after he goes to bed, even more so lately!

I'm off to catch up with everyone! I've not been the best blogger lately and I'm feeling a bit guilty about that. Who knew?

Thank you to all of those who visited me this week! I had SO much fun with this I will be doing it again! Can you believe I actually had butterflies in my stomach when I drew the name?

Over this past weekend I updated my shop and blog. I have a new banner, new icon, and new goodies. Here are some of my favs...

The party chick, tulip, and grace are all on their way to their new home, thank you pATtie! Sugar, sugar was featured in a treasury this week, along with the lollipop flower (found a new home, thank you aMy!), house magnet, and carrot bobby pins. It was so exciting to see that little gold star!

It was a crazy week! One of the highlights was eLijAh trying green beans for the first time. It was so awesome, he loved them!
