Guess what? I'm back - hooray! I'm finally feeling like myself again. We had some snow these past couple of days here in the NC mountains. It was eLijAh's first snow so it was quite exciting. dAiSy lOu even caught a few flakes on that tongue of hers!

Now that I'm back in action I have a lot of catching up to do. I've missed everyone and it's been great of you to leave me sweet comments. :) I've got some awards to collect and to give; and I've been tagged to list 6 interesting things about me. I will start making my rounds tonight.

I'll be updating my etsy shop over the weekend, I'm hoping to start listing tomorrow (friday). I have several new magnets and pins that I'm excited to show you. Plus a few surprises! I've decided that I will do shop updates over a span of 2 or 3 days. I love etsy, but it takes a long time to list multiple items. I'm worn out by the time I'm done posting, so to make it easier I'm spreading it out.

Well, I finally succumbed to the crud that's been going around. Today is the first day I've felt like doing anything other than sleep. Needless to say, I'm behind in blog comments, emails, making shop items and of course, office work. Elijah is taking a little nap so I thought I'd take a moment to say "hey". I promise to catch up with everyone over the next few days and it looks like it will be another week before I have any sort of shop update. Although, if I happen to finish a few pieces I might list them sooner.

Hi! I'm busy changing some things around here. As much as I love pink and red, I'm tired of them for a little while. Time for spring, and while I'm not a huge fan of pastels, I LOVE greens, blues, and tangerines (I love to eat those too !). The beauty and freshness of spring are truly inspiring! I'm so excited to show you the fun things I've been putting together.

Hi! Hope this finds everyone well. A quick post tonight as I am tired. This art card is now on eBay. I had a lot of fun piecing it together.

I'm busy working on some new pieces. Now that we are in the middle of winter, I long for spring and my new work will definitely reflect this longing.

Wow - what a warm day here in the NC mountains! I was able to open the windows and take baby Elijah out for a little stroll. It's nice to have a touch a spring, it gives me hope and inspiration!

Thank you everyone for another successful shop update! It's so wonderful to have so much support and to be surrounded by kindness. It really is great, really.

Now that I've had a taste of spring, I'm anxious to start new projects, and especially to change my store banner. My mind is full of ideas - we'll see what sticks! The bad news is I have TONS of bookeeping to do. I fell way behind while I was pregnant and now with tax season upon us I'm racing to get everything caught up and in order. Unfortunately this means I won't have as much time as I would like to make things. My plan is to do a little bit of work AND a little bit of play each evening. I'll let you know how it goes.
